She touched the lives of everyone she met by being a strong, courageous woman who raised three children on her own – all without ever having a driver’s license. Dorothy loved dancing, elephants and being with her family. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will be remembered by her great-great grandchildren Jacob & Peyton Tompkins, Bryson & Emery Morton. She will be remembered by grandchildren Jill (Greg) Roethlesberger, Kelly Kippes, William Moyer, Norbert III (Jennifer) Schmeidler, Cathy (Mark)Pratt, Carol (Dennis) Thomas, Christy (Robert) DeWitt and Cheryl Schmeidler. Dorothy will be remembered by her children Bill Moyer and Sharon (Norbert Jr.)Schmeidler. Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, John Moyer. She retired with Dillons after 32 years of employment. She was one of nine children born to the late John and Edna Nauert. Dorothy was born in Macksville, KS and grew up in Larned, KS.
